Eurasian Jay

 I've seen two Eurasian jays, but have no photos. The first was near the Tagus Estuary in Portugal on June 25, 2022 with Bernardo Barreto of Birds & Nature. The second was earlier this year, on June 22, 2026, in Yildiz Park in Istanbul, Turkey with Dogan Bilge of Eskapas. It is a gorgeous bird with 33 subspecies that have quite a bit of variation. I believe I saw ssp. fasciaatus in Portugal and ssp. anatoliae in Turkey.
