The violet-tailed sylph is another hummingbird I saw last year in Ecuador, but this year I saw more of them in Colombia and get better photos. I saw them near the Montezuma Rainforest Lodge and also high up on Mount Tatama in Tatama NP.

Another hummingbird with a very small range. The birds in the Tatama photos are especially exquisite.
