Yesterday Judy and I visited Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area in Irwindale and got very close to several snow geese and Ross's geese. I got several photos of both species next to each other providing a great comparison.

They must be pretty close cousins because they like to seem to hang out together. Is there such a thing as a crossbred Ross's Snow Goose?
ReplyDeleteYes, I would have no clue as to how to come to that conclusion, but I've seen categories in bird lists for them.
