Green Imperial Pigeon

The green imperial pigeon is a forest pigeon found in tropical Southeast Asia as well as portions of India and Sri Lanka. There are 11 subspecies. We saw Ducula aenea sylvatica, found in north India, Nepal to south China to Thailand and Indochina.

It has metallic green wings, tail and back and white head and underparts and maroon undertail coverts.

I got one poor photo near Diphlu Lodge near Kazaranga NP in Assam, India.
A blurry photo from Assam, India. One is also hiding behind the branch.
