One of my very favorite meats is lamb. It has a very strong, distinctive taste and the fattiness makes it very juicy. I can often buy lamb shoulder chops at Albertson's for about $2.97 a pound and I like it more than ribeye steak which is three or four times more expensive.
These lamb shoulder chops have been grilled on our outdoor gas barbeque.
If you fry some onions, add some cheese (in this case, pepper jack) and bread, spread with mayonnaise,
then add some grilled lamb,
you get a very tasty sandwich.
