In October 2017, in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, with our large group of 90, we descended on another unremarkable restaurant, which was called, best as I can tell: "Hobour ApSane".
It was about the last straw for me as far as group dinners. We left this one early and made even more concerted efforts to get out and eat separately after this. It wasn't even that the food was not great. It was just interminably long sit-downs.

What, no singing and/or dancing program? That would have made you love it even more.
