Another bird I got photos of without trying to was the white-faced whistling duck. They were grouped with some sacred ibis and I was trying to get photos of the ibis. So the focus is not always on the ducks, but at least I got some pictures and they are beautiful birds.

We were in a motorboat on a river in the Okavanga Delta.

The white-faced whistling duck is found in South America and Sub-Saharan Africa.
They have grey bills, black heads and necks, white faces (which gives them their name), dark brown and black back and wings, and a chestnut neck.
The Okavanga Delta is a bird watcher's paradise. I'm not suprised that you got a few photo bombers that you didn't know you were getting!
