Again, although a lot of structures have been built up around it, it retains some of its natural beauty. It isn't so overdone. I always pictured Jesus's baptism taking place in a wide, relatively slow, crystalline river, so it's fun to have my expectations shaken up a bit by this muddy, narrow river.
